This year is the 100th anniversary of Fellini’s film La Dolce Vita (The Sweet Life) and event organizers have decided to draw inspiration from the film to renew Notte Rosa; themed preparations and Fellini-based inspiration will be the backdrop to the 2010 edition. The name of this great director from Rimini will be combined with the main new development this year: the highlight of the events will be Friday evening instead of Saturday evening, and the party will continue all weekend long. This year’s organizers are announcing increased sets with a greater pink impact.
Will Notte Rosa succeed in renewing its winning formula and being as successful as in past years?
The ffifteenth edition of Notte Rosa will take place Friday 2-3 July 2021.
However, this year it won’t just be a pink night, but an entire pink weekend!
After all, the formula has been successful: 100 km of coastline from Comacchio to Cattolica are illuminated in the colour pink at night, and propose events, concerts, and all sorts of entertainment along streets and in the piazzas.
Until now the summer’s New Year’s Eve took place Saturday with 300 simultaneous events concentrated into one single evening along the entire Riviera Romagnola, but now the event will take place over an entire 3-day weekend. A majority of the events will take place on the night between Friday and Saturday, but they will also be scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. This edition will also be characterized by an intense programme involving music, concerts, visual art and events performed in unique and (some) unusual locations … expect surprises.
The Riviera is preparing for its crazy night, with its moonlight performances and concerts – the party will continue until morning when the sun rises over a silver sea.
Many sites will be involved – not just the usual ones such as the museum, theatre, piazzas, restaurants, shops, local street markets, night clubs, hotels and blocks of service flats, but symbol locations will also be open all night long. It will be marvellous for all night birds. The Riviera Romagnola will show all its charm, popularity and eclecticism in all of its towns: Gabicce, Misano, Cattolica, Riccione, Rimini, Bellaria Igea, Cesenatico, Cervia, Milano Marittima, Ravenna and Lidi Ferraresi.
Participants will have an opportunity to rediscover the cities, sea, beach and places along the Riviera thanks to the view and creativity of many artists who will animate the night with performances, poetry, magic and so much more. The Notte Rosa is an extraordinary occasion for everyone: tourists and residents alike. Thanks to this immense collective party, participants can enjoy a combination of artistic, cultural and entertaining appointments located along the entire Riviera Romagnola, where all pubs, clubs and hotels have participated without distinction.
